Dual-band Wireless AC+N
The FRITZ!Box uses Wireless AC in the 5-GHz band and transmits data with up to 866 Mbit/s. At the same time it uses Wireless N with up to 450 Mbit/s in the 2.4-GHz band. If desired, the smart auto channel search will find the optimum radio channel.
FRITZ!Hotspot
Offer your guests simple Internet access. The guest access has its own network key and name. It's possible establish a welcome page for customers in cafés or guests at home. Visitors have no access to the home network, so your data stays private.
FRITZ!Box as a private hotspot
When using your FRITZ!Box as a hotspot, you can restrict Internet usage to surfing and e-mail. You have a usage log, while your guests benefit from an integrated QR code that makes it easy for them to connect to the Internet.

The new Wi-Fi 6 standard meets the needs of networks with an ever increasing number of wireless devices. Smartphones, tablets, PCs, 4K TVs, speakers and smart lights: more and more devices are being used simultaneously on your Wi-Fi at home. Wi-Fi 6 provides for a fast, stable data stream by reducing latencies. A total bandwidth of 2,400 Mbit/s in the 5-GHz band and 600 Mbit/s in the 2.4-GHz band are provided for multiple parallel applications. In the Mesh Wi-Fi, multiple distributed wireless hubs (for instance, the FRITZ!Box and several FRITZ!Repeaters) are combined into a single intelligent Wi-Fi network. The integrated VoIP telephone system has a jack for an analog telephone as well as a DECT base station for up to six cordless telephones (for instance, all FRITZ!Fon models). Over Wi-Fi, even IP telephones and smartphones are transformed into full-service telephones on your connection. Versatile multimedia functions
The FRITZ!Box 6660 Cable has an integrated DVB-C tuner. One channel search suffices, and the devices detect free-to-air programs on cable television and stream them to the home network via Wi-Fi.
Please note: DVB-C streaming with FRITZ!Box Cable models is not available in every cable network.
The FRITZ!Box also brings connected USB storage media into the home network as well as online storage media and all of the contents stored there. Thanks to the integrated media server coupled with NAS, stored videos, music and pictures are made available for distribution to playback devices like smartphones. This makes the FRITZ!Box 6660 Cable a powerful and efficient platform for networked multimedia applications like IPTV, video on demand and media streaming. Support for DECT ULE/HAN FUN
DECT ULE/HAN FUN is a manufacturer-independent standard for Smart Home devices. DECT ULE/HAN FUN is included in the FRITZ!Box upon delivery, making it possible to integrate third party Smart Home devices in the home network e.g. wall switches, motion sensors and door-window contacts.
