PC Foam Packaging Instructions

Shipping a PC requires precision and care. A PC consists of many separate components that are often held in place with small screws. During transport, a sudden drop or constant vibration can cause components such as a graphics card, SSD card, or CPU cooler to come loose. To prevent this, we use a moldable foam solution that is custom-made for each system in which it is used. This prevents potential transport damage. Thanks to the foam layer, damage from bumps and vibrations is minimized.

IMPORTANT

It is very important that the foam layer is removed before using the PC. This is because it fills a significant part of the inside of the chassis, blocking proper airflow and disrupting heat dissipation.

To ensure that the foam layer is removed correctly, we have created a step-by-step guide. This way, you can be sure that you can start using your new PC properly.

How to Remove the Side Panel

  1. Check your PC to determine whether the side panel is attached with 2 thumb screws on the back or 4 screws on the side panel.
  2. The side panel is securely fastened for shipping, so you will need a screwdriver for the next step. Does your side panel have 4 screws on the side panel? Then you may proceed to step 3b.
  3. Remove the screws and open the case.
