Continuous stress tracking
You most likely experience stress during your day, but when exactly does that happen? Your vívosmart 4 will let you know if you've had a calm, average, or stressful day, with all stages in between. By tracking your HRV (the time interval between each heartbeat), vívosmart 4 calculates and displays your stress level. The Garmin Connect app also includes an optional feature that reminds you to relax. As your tension level increases throughout the day, the "Relax Reminder" will vibrate on your wrist and display a message ("Please take a moment to breathe?"). Use the timer for relaxing breathing exercises and you will be guided through the Fourfold breathing technique. It has a proven calming effect on your mind and body.
Track your active life
Your vívosmart 4 greets you each day with a personalized step goal. After that, your steps and your progress will be tracked and displayed. Not only are steps counted, but the activity tracking features also measure the number of floors you walk up or down stairs, calories burned, intensity minutes and more. You'll also see a progress bar and get vibration alerts to let you know it's time to act and get moving.
Track your workouts
You can use the preloaded activity timers to track your workout times and much more. As soon as you start a strength training session, the device estimates your exercises, reps and sets along with your work and rest times. So you don't have to keep track of anything anymore. And if you forget to start a timer, the Move IQ® feature on your vívosmart 4 will automatically recognize exercises such as walking, swimming, cycling and cross training – and even start the timer for certain activities. Connect to your compatible smartphone's GPS for accurate tracking during outdoor walks and runs. When you're done, your activities are forwarded to Garmin Connect, our online community, where you can view, edit and share the activities with your connections and friends.
