The Ubiquiti UniFi U7 Long-Range is a high-performance access point designed for demanding wireless environments where range and reliability are essential. Supporting the latest IEEE 802.11be (Wi-Fi 7) standard alongside 802.11ax, 802.11ac, and 802.11n, this access point delivers a maximum combined wireless speed of 7300 Mbps. With support for up to 300 simultaneous users, it is well suited for both enterprise and large-scale commercial deployments. The compact white housing measures 175.7 x 175.7 x 43 mm and weighs just 448 grams, allowing flexible installation on ceilings or walls. Power is supplied via PoE, with a maximum power consumption of 14W.

The U7 Long-Range operates on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands, reaching speeds of up to 688 Mbps and 4300 Mbps respectively. Multi-User MIMO technology enables simultaneous data streams to multiple clients, improving overall network efficiency. Internal antennas with a maximum gain of 6 dBi contribute to extended coverage, while fast roaming support through IEEE 802.11k, 802.11r, and 802.11v ensures smooth transitions between access points in larger installations.

The device features a single 2.5G PoE-capable LAN port with wired transfer speeds of 1000 and 2500 Mbps, providing high-throughput backhaul connectivity. VLAN support enables network segmentation for improved traffic management. Security is handled through PPSK and TLS protocols. The access point includes LED indicators and a reset button, and is rated for operating temperatures ranging from -30 to 50 degrees Celsius.
