The Ubiquiti UniFi U7 Long-Range is a high-performance access point designed for demanding wireless environments where extended coverage and reliable connectivity are essential. Supporting the latest IEEE 802.11be (Wi-Fi 7) standard alongside 802.11ax, 802.11ac, and 802.11n, this access point delivers a maximum combined wireless throughput of up to 7300 Mbps. The U7 Long-Range operates on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands, reaching maximum Wi-Fi speeds of 688 Mbps and 4300 Mbps respectively. Equipped with internal antennas offering up to 6 dBi gain and Multi-User MIMO technology, the access point efficiently handles multiple simultaneous connections. A 2.5G PoE uplink port ensures that the wired backbone can keep pace with the wireless throughput on offer.
Advanced Connectivity and Security
Fast roaming support through IEEE 802.11k, 802.11r, and 802.11v enables smooth transitions between access points in larger deployments. VLAN support adds network segmentation flexibility for complex environments, while PPSK and TLS security algorithms provide robust access control and data protection. The device operates across a wide temperature range of -30 to 50°C, making it suitable for both indoor and demanding outdoor-adjacent installations.
