The Reolink P840 is a powerful 4K/8MP PTZ outdoor security camera designed for comprehensive surveillance in demanding environments. With its sleek white dome form factor and IP65 weather resistance, this camera is built to perform reliably outdoors. It captures stunning detail at a maximum resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels using a 1/2.8-inch CMOS sensor, delivering crystal-clear footage at up to 25 frames per second. The camera supports both wired Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity, making installation flexible across a wide range of setups. Video is efficiently compressed using H.264 or H.265 formats, and footage can be stored locally via a MicroSD card. Compatible with Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS, the P840 integrates easily into existing systems.
Advanced PTZ and Auto Tracking
The P840 features optical zoom capability and a wide horizontal viewing angle ranging from 100 to 31 degrees, allowing precise control over the field of view. Its PTZ functionality enables pan, tilt, and zoom adjustments, while built-in auto tracking intelligently follows moving subjects across the scene. This makes it particularly effective for monitoring large outdoor areas without manual intervention.
Night Vision and Smart Detection
Equipped with an infrared LED system and an IR cut-off filter, the P840 delivers clear night vision up to 60 meters in complete darkness. Video motion detection adds an extra layer of security by alerting users to activity in the monitored area. With a built-in microphone and support for a broad range of network protocols including ONVIF, RTSP, and P2P, the camera integrates seamlessly into modern security infrastructures.
