The ASRock B850 Riptide WiFi is a full-size ATX motherboard built around the AMD B850 chipset, designed for use with AMD Ryzen 7000, 8000, and 9000 Series processors on the AM5 socket. The board comes in a sleek black finish and measures 305 x 244 mm. It supports DDR5 memory across four DIMM slots with dual-channel configuration and a maximum capacity of 256 GB, with overclocking speeds reaching 8000+ MHz. Both ECC and non-ECC memory are supported.
Connectivity and Expansion
The ASRock B850 Riptide WiFi offers extensive connectivity options. Four M.2 slots are available, with the primary slot supporting PCIe 5.0 and the remaining three operating at PCIe 4.0, all accommodating drives up to 2280. Additional storage is covered by four SATA III connectors. On the rear panel you will find a single HDMI 2.1 port supporting resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 pixels. USB connectivity is broad, including USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A and Type-C ports, multiple USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, and USB 2.0 ports.

For networking, the board features a Killer E3100G 2.5G wired LAN controller alongside Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) wireless connectivity and Bluetooth 5.4, with two antenna jacks included. Audio is handled by a Realtek ALC4082 chip delivering 7.1 channel output, complemented by S/PDIF output and dual headphone outputs. The UEFI AMI BIOS with 256 Mbit memory rounds out this well-equipped platform.
