The two included 140mm fans spin at up to 2300 RPM and deliver a maximum air pressure of 4.62 mmH2O with an airflow of up to 25.09 CFM. Thanks to PWM support, fan speeds can be adjusted automatically to balance cooling performance and noise levels. At minimum speeds, the fans operate as quietly as 8.06 dB, while peak noise levels reach 44.4 dB under full load. The radiator measures 312 x 140 x 27mm, providing ample surface area for effective heat dissipation.

The AORUS Waterforce X 280 supports an extensive range of sockets, including Intel 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, 1200, 1366, 1700, 1851, 2011, and 2066, as well as AMD AM4, TR4, and sTRX4 platforms, making it compatible with a wide variety of modern and older systems. The pump unit, measuring 82 x 82 x 74mm, integrates ARGB lighting via a 3-pin connector, delivering customizable RGB illumination that can be synchronized with compatible motherboards for a cohesive and visually striking build aesthetic.
