The Gigabyte Z890 EAGLE is a solid ATX motherboard designed for Intel Core Ultra Series 1 and Series 2 processors, fitting the LGA Socket 1851. Built around the Intel Z890 chipset, this board measures 305 x 244 mm and comes in a grey finish. It supports up to 256 GB of DDR5 memory across four DIMM slots in a dual-channel configuration, with overclocked speeds reaching up to 8800 MHz. The board uses a UEFI AMI BIOS with 256 Mbit of storage, includes a Clear CMOS button and jumper, and is compatible with both ECC and non-ECC unbuffered memory.

The Z890 EAGLE offers extensive storage options with four M.2 slots. The first slot supports PCIe 5.0 and accommodates drives up to 25110 in size, while the remaining three slots run on PCIe 4.0 and support up to 22110. Additionally, four SATA III connectors are available for traditional storage. For expansion, the board features one PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, providing headroom for the latest graphics cards and peripherals.

Networking is handled by a Realtek RTL8125 controller delivering 2.5G wired LAN speeds. The board provides a rich set of USB ports including two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, and three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, along with two Thunderbolt headers. A Realtek ALC897 audio chip delivers 7.1 channel sound, complemented by a front panel audio connector and one headphone output. A DisplayPort 2.1 output supports resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 pixels.
