Storage and Expansion
The MSI B860M GAMING PLUS WIFI offers three M.2 slots, all supporting up to 2280 form factor drives. The primary slot runs on PCIe 5.0 for top-tier storage performance, while the second and third slots operate on PCIe 4.0. Additionally, four SATA III connectors provide ample room for traditional storage solutions. For graphics and additional expansion, the board includes one PCIe x16 Gen 5.0 slot and one PCIe x16 Gen 4.0 slot.

On the networking side, the board is equipped with a Killer E5000B LAN controller supporting 5 Gbps wired speeds, Wi-Fi 7 via the 802.11be standard, and Bluetooth 5.4 for versatile wireless connectivity. Display output is handled through one HDMI 2.1 port and one DisplayPort. USB connectivity is extensive, including USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A and Type-C ports on the rear panel, complemented by multiple USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports.
