The MSI MPG B850I EDGE TI WIFI is a compact Mini-ITX motherboard designed for AMD processors, fitting neatly into small form factor builds without compromising on performance. With dimensions of 170 x 170 mm and a clean white finish, it supports AMD Ryzen 7000, 8000, and 9000 Series processors via the Socket AM5 interface, paired with the AMD B850 chipset. The board accommodates up to 128 GB of DDR5 memory across two DIMM slots in a dual-channel configuration, with supported speeds up to 4800 MHz and overclocked speeds reaching up to 8200 MHz.
Connectivity and Expansion
Despite its compact size, the MSI MPG B850I EDGE TI WIFI offers an impressive range of connectivity options. It features one PCIe x16 Gen 5 slot and two M.2 slots for fast storage solutions, complemented by two SATA III connectors. For external connectivity, the board provides a total of ten USB ports including USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A and Type-C ports, alongside a single HDMI 2.1 output. Wired networking is handled by a Realtek RTL8126 controller supporting 5 Gigabit Ethernet.
