The MSI PRO B850-S EVO WIFI offers extensive expansion options with two PCIe 5.0 x16 slots and three M.2 ports. The first M.2 slot supports PCIe 5.0 at up to 2280 size, while the second supports PCIe 4.0 at up to 22110 size, and the third supports PCIe 4.0 at up to 2280 size. For traditional storage, four SATA III connectors are included. USB connectivity is well covered with USB 2.0, USB 3.2 Gen 1, and USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports both on the rear panel and via internal headers.

Wireless performance is handled by Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) and Bluetooth 5.4, ensuring fast and reliable wireless communication. Wired networking is provided by a Realtek RTL8125BG 2.5G LAN controller. For display output, the board includes one HDMI 2.1 and one DisplayPort 1.4. Audio is powered by the Realtek ALC897 chip, delivering 7.1-channel surround sound output for an immersive audio experience.
