Information

The ASUS TUF Gaming B850-PLUS WIFI is a robust ATX motherboard built for AMD Ryzen processors, compatible with the Ryzen 7000, 8000, and 9000 Series via the AM5 socket. Powered by the AMD B850 chipset, it supports up to 192GB of DDR5 memory across four DIMM slots in dual-channel configuration, making it a solid foundation for high-performance desktop builds. With dimensions of 305 x 244mm, the board fits standard ATX cases and includes a 24-pin ATX and 8-pin EPS power connector for stable power delivery.

Connectivity and Expansion
The B850-PLUS WIFI offers extensive connectivity options, including three M.2 slots and four SATA III ports for versatile storage configurations. USB support is comprehensive, featuring USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, and USB 2.0 ports, along with a Thunderbolt header. Video output is handled by one HDMI 2.1 and one DisplayPort 1.4, supporting resolutions up to 7680 x 4320. Wired networking is covered by a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port.

Wireless and Audio Capabilities
For wireless connectivity, the board integrates Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) with two antenna jacks and Bluetooth 5.4, keeping the system future-ready for high-speed wireless applications. Audio is managed by a Realtek ALC1220 chip delivering 7.1-channel output, complemented by a front panel audio connector, headphone output, and microphone port. The UEFI AMI BIOS with 256MB memory and a Clear CMOS button round out the feature set for straightforward system management.

10/10 product 5/10 instructions

Great product however it doesn't guide you at all on how to wire your power supply. Very stressful for people like myself who have never built a pc before.
